Concrete Calculator: Slab Volume and Bags
Concrete volume in cubic yards or cubic meters for a slab or pour, with a waste allowance and the number of 80, 60 or 40 lb (or 30 and 20 kg) premix bags.
- Volume from length, width and thickness
- Adjustable waste allowance
- Premix bag counts: 80, 60 and 40 lb, or 30 and 20 kg
- Cubic yards, cubic feet or cubic meters
How to use
- Enter the length, width and thickness of the pour. A 4" slab is entered as 4 (plain numbers are inches).
- Set the waste allowance; 10% is typical for spillage, uneven subgrade and form deflection.
- Read the volume to order, split into net volume and waste, in cubic yards (cubic meters in metric).
- Pick a bag size to see how many premix bags it takes. Bag yields are typical figures; check the product label.
- Length fields accept the same entries as the Feet and Inches Calculator: 9' 6, 7 3/4", 2743mm or 3m + 6'. A plain number means inches, or millimeters when the Units panel is set to metric.
